Transcarent, an employee healthcare navigation company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire health benefits platform Accolade for about $621 million, or $7.03 per share in cash.

The Boards of Directors of both companies unanimously approved the combination, which they said will make it easier for people to access affordable healthcare, promising a “more personalized and engaging member experience.”
