Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has advanced legislation that would seek to bar pharmacy benefit managers from also owning pharmacies, claiming that PBMs are taking advantage of lax regulations.

According to Sanders, PBMs take advantage of this lax environment to inflate drug prices and cut off access to critical medications.
